Barely 60% of children complete grades 1 to 5 at primary school Middle school consist of grades 6 to 8. Many traditional families and rural areas prefer single sex schools. If the student completes Middle school then they advance to senior school that consists of grades 9 – 12 with annual examination. If the student completes grade 10 then they may proceed to grade 12. Vocational education is controlled by the Pakistani Technical Education and Vocational so students must qualify. Around 8% of Pakistanis qualify for tertiary education but the government would like to increase this to 20% by 2020 (Classbase). Medically the country is satisfactory and has 57.48 deaths for every 1000 live births (CIA). Economically they also do well. Their imports include petroleum, petroleum products, machinery, plastics, transportation equipment, edible oils, paper and paperboard, iron and steel, tea. Their import partners include China 19.7%, Saudi Arabia 12.3%, UAE 12.1%, and Kuwait 6.3%. Items exported include textiles (garments, bed linen, cotton cloth, and yarn), rice, leather goods, sports goods, chemicals, manufactures, carpets and rug. Their export partners include the US 13.6%, China 11.1%, UAE 8.5%, and Afghanistan 7.8% (CIA). The overall statistics in Pakistan are of satisfactory to excellent and competing internationally they are independent and strong, Islam plays a large factor in these statistics.
