Pakistan

   Pakistan’s population is greatly influenced by the ethnic and religious groups found in the country. Islam which is the official religion especially has a major influence on the 196,174,380 people who live there. In fact about 96.4% are Muslim while 3.6% is Christian, Hindu and others. The ethnic groups were really diverse as well and include 44.68% Punjabi, 15.42% Pashtun, 14.1% Sindhi, 8.38% Saraki, 7.57% Muhajirs, 3.57% Balochi, and 6.28% others. The official language of Pakistan is Urdu and is spoken by 8% of Pakistanis in the country. There are many other languages spoken and many correspond with the ethnic groups. 48% speak Punjabi, Sindhi 12%, Saraiki 10%, Pashto  8%,  Balochi 3%, Hindko 2%, Brahui 1%, English spoken only by government , Burushaski and others 8%. There are also 1.06 males for every one female in Pakistan (CIA). The Islamic background of this country dominates other backgrounds and is highly influential in Pakistan.
