the end?
The ending in this terrible tragedy did not resolve in a happily ever after. It resolved in a life changing history difference. President Bill Clinton made a stand and did everything in his power to help the genocide in Uganda stop; he also started charity cases to raise money for medical purposes for the victims (Samantha Power). Uganda became a republic, and Mutesa was elected president. The first years of independence were dominated by a struggle between the central government and Buganda. In 1966, Obote introduced a new constitution that ended Buganda's autonomy (“Military group”). Punishments were either exile or death (Joseph Kony). Security minister says troops will pull out of regional hotspots, after UN accused Uganda of supporting Congolese rebels Uganda has said it will withdraw its forces from military operations in regional hotspots including Somalia in response to UN allegations that it is supporting Congolese rebel (“REUTERS, in New York Times”).It is genocide because there was a large amount of deaths (Joseph Kony). In conclusion the ending of this genocide hasn’t made up for the death of innocent people but the love for the country avails.
