Statistics

Currently Afghanistan is a blossoming country, while still having minor setbacks. The literacy rate of kids 15 and over in Afghanistan is 28.1% in which is 30,551,647 people. Males being 43.15 and female 12.6% . The infant mortality rate is 70 deaths per 1,000 live births . There are 2 kinds of education in Afghanistan, just like in America.  Religious education is the responsibility of clerics at mosques, while the government provides free academic education at state schools. From age 7 to age 16 pupils attend school where they can learn the basics of reading, writing, arithmetic and their national culture. The imports of Afghanistan are wheat, rice, barley, cotton, sugar beets, sugarcane, oil seeds, and a wide variety of vegetables. Raisins, nuts, and many kinds of fruits also were produced. During the 1990s, Afghanistan's poppy production accounted for the world's largest production of opium . The exports are opium, fruits and nuts, hand-woven carpets, wool, cotton, hides and pelts, precious and semi-precious gem. So in conclusion Afghanistan is another country with its similarities and differences to America. It leads people to their daily live just in a different life style .
